1724 helped Joel celebrated his birthday at a location you would least expect anyone would held it at. MacDonalds!!

Well, that was MacNight that was. We had a MacBirthday celebration!
On the 24th, I followed the SF camp committee to Choa Chu Kang. I forgot the exact address, but it is very near to the Home Team Academy. No 50 somewhere, just continue along Sungei Telok after the academy. I was thinking that it would be a great camp. Sorry I do not have any photos to show you guys. But the place, one whole campsite belongs to us; we can use the whole place without restriction. AND it is big too. Just wait for the actual day. 18th to 21st December!
The Next Big Thing is coming.
Then on Sunday, this Hao Jie dragged me to his house. Because his family was chosen for the Christmas event video interview. Well, he asked me to just go to his place as I have yet been to his place before. Haha, good reason. I agree. Reason number 2, becuase he said that he had something which he want to give to me. But when I reached his place, he said that he had hid it so well from his brother, that he could not find it himself. Joke leh. Haha. Hao Jie please do not, i repeat DO NOT read the statement in the brackets (actually i went to his place because more of reason no. 2. Don't tell him. Haha).
Well, to begin with, it was very last minute that he asked me to go to his place, and it will be in a rush because it is right after worship. Then we do not know if there is transport to and fro. Then the next thing is that I will be of no use to any part of the production, so all the more I should not be there to take up space.
But then, actually we had enough time in the end, as the filming team will only leave after lunch. Then Da Quan is going there in his Toyota Picnic which is spacious for 6 passengers. And well, lastly, Hao Jie asked me over to his place to, well, take up the space. Haha.
Just a question who else heard of the University of the Nations?
Yesterday, I went to Suntec. Addison Min Hui and me. Our original plan is to watch Casino Royale. But then we kinda missed the original time slot. So we decided to settle down for Subway sandwich (since I have not tried before) + Carl's Jr Drink (since it's free flow) and have sort of Bible study revision. After finishing the snadwich, we then shifted over to Carl's Junior. Addison and I shared another burger since he complained of not being so full.
Soon it was 915pm in the night. I then asked them if they want to watch the movie. After 5minutes in the toilet, I finally decided. I then told them that we should do what we came to do. And we watch the 945 show. 007
The show ended at 5 past midnight, and by the the time we reached the bus stop, we realised that the bus left like about 5 mins ago, almost got it. Worse, we do not have enough money with us, only left about 18 totaled up. Guessed what? We then walked from Suntec via Nicoll Highway then across Medake Bridge finally reaching some place around Kallang almost reaching Geylang, more accurately off Guillardmard Road. so there came a taxi and we hopped on. Wheni told that uncle that we hane only got about 10+ dollars, the uncle geve us the 'kinda-scared' expression. But according to Addison who is the last to alight, that the money is enough.
I am waiting for the Camp, and also for an event which is nearer to come.

ITE
It is coming to an end. My NS.
But something had to happen at this point of time. Just to briefly mention it here. I accidentally got a portable radio set (walkie talkie that cost about S$7000++ each) spoilt during patrol. An official Police report had to be made as it is an official equipment, and it was being damaged during official duty time.
You might heard this in the Army that accidents like this can be covered up by superiors, but things do not work this way here. So, seriously, the report has to be made. Not anyone's fault to blame.
Not entirely a bad month. At least i have a lot of rest days due to the leave days and also the weekends. I was able to have bit more outings with my friends, from here and there.
Daniel had then present to me my birthday present when I gone over to his place after we watch "The Covenant". It is a "DC Showcase SUPERMAN vol1" comic book. I have always been interested in comics. Paticularly in Superman and his gang (DC) and also X-men (Marvel).
Just tuesday, I went to Dulos, the world largest floating bookfair. It is actually a ship dokced at Harbour Front. It is also a Christian Ministry, sort of, because as it has Christian related seminars and books there. Went there with HaoJie and Joel.

Summary of October
Few significant events that I can remember.
1st October
Went to Heeren, at the used-to-be Marche restaurant. Now is is called Village. Hao Jie also went with me to have our dinner.
Here is the Beer, one of the alcoholic drinks I would recommend. Erdinger Beer. Try the light one, although I am having the Dark one. If you can get hold onto an Erdinger Crystal, that would be the best!
4th October
Kok Boon's got married! Our dear colleague (my chauffeur). He had held the event at Armaran Country Club at Pasir Ris. Not much pictures here because I am not the one who did the photogragh taking that night. Well, Seng was there with his trusty Ixus, and there is always the hired photographer! I only took a pic of someone putting on a Ultraman Helmet, kinda made her looked like that superhero...
Then I took a cab with Elaine, sent her home first before meeting my JC budds at Serangoon Garden, at a place called Happy Dazes Retro Bistro. It really is happy daze there. Played card, won some lost some.Altogether there were 4 of us. Aloy, Andy, Xue Qian and myself. So after that, the 4 curious boys spotted a dart machine there and decided to try our skills at throwing things.
The teams, 1 comprising of Andy and Xue Qian, 2 comprising of Aloy and me, ties at 2 games out of 4. Good throw.
7th October
My Birthday! I took leave. There was this class outing that night @ Plaza Singapura. Russ, Dan, Val, WeiJian, YongYi, Gabriel, Erienne, YunXuan, Rena were there. I might have missed out someone. Sorry about that, I'm not a supercomputer, can't recall everything. Well I was thinking if anyone could remember that it was my birthday. I had initially decided to keep quiet to see. Actually most of them remembered. Val bought a cake, well, it's a piece of cake for me with a candle on top.
Then we wen to watch the movie "scoop" as it was the only movie that weekend night that had enough seats for all of us.
13th October
I believed it was a Friday. HaoJie and I met Joel for a movie at Plaza Singapura again. The Departed. I have not watched the original story prior to that day. The original story is actually Hong Kong's Infernal Affairs. Joel suggested that we go for it as he had expected it to be a good show. I ended up liking the show quite a lot. Next is dinner time, we lingered around town and finally went down to citilink at City Hall. We had dinner at this Asian Kitchen place at the corner next to Thai express. As both HaoJie and me cannot make it for Saturday's 1724 Bible study, Joel thought that he might as well give us the lesson that night since we are at it. We were actually "watching the preview show" Haha. Then we moved over to Esplanade to continue to lesson as not to hogged onto the seats at the restaurant.
17th October
ORD Medical Chcekup. I was kena sabotaged to be the van driver to send my fellow NServicemen to Old Police Academy for the checkup. They just wanted someone who can drive and my dear friend SK volunteered me. Haha... becuase I have driven van before.
My medical shows that I am normal, meaning that I will be in the same Pess status (B) as when I entered NS.
After the Checkup, Sk, Louis and YongChuen decided that we shold catch a movie at the new VivoCity after lunching at DHQ.
MAN, the seats was big, huge. But i felt that it was not the best scorer in the comfortable test. It was far too hard and the seats are too straignt up, it seems like you are seated in a 90º position. We watched "Silk". It is supposed to be a horror film, but I thought that it becamae a science fiction film instead.
We took a walk at the building. Guess who we saw, I did not know her name, but she is the WPO trainee who was in training at the same time as us in TRACOM when were in NPCO course. I think you might remember her better as the better looking girl in her squad. Haha. There was not many to start with, so it should be easy to narrow down to who she is.
21st October
I attended a Worship training at Church
24th October
We had this DIY pizza buffet + Kong Ba Pau lunch at Joel's. It was really a great lunch. We mixed all sorts of ingredients onto the pizza dough and then chuck it one side into the oven for it to bake.
Then it was bible study by Joel. As it was my 1st off day. They sais that I looked so stoned. Thus this might explain the fact that I really did not get the lesson on the spot. I cannot really comprehend what Joel was trying to tell the class althogh I can remember what he said.
After class, we played card game "Loot" and then board game "Monopoly". Guess who was the richest. Me, of course. It was how I was saying, "little by little, it will generate into bigger wealth" heehee. I was like buying all the cheap land and utilities, which whenever, I would only collect $4 or $6. But then I was able to build Hotels on my lands all at a turn. It turned out that I will be collecting $660. Then in the end, all the others combined forces to play against me. Due to time constrain, we ended the game before we have a rightful winner.
27th October
Hao Jie and I went to Marina Bay to fly kite. It was my first time to try this activity. Well, it really is worth my try. We bought a $2.50 kite initially. Seeing how easily HJ flew the kite,
he still can use his phone, I then went back to the uncle to buy another one.
With the same ease, the kite flew up high too.

28th October
I have to attend a Church Retreat Meeting. It was a full day event comprising of a workshop, lunch, sermon, fellowship and dinner. It was conducted at my friend's (han Wei) condo's MPH.
After that I took a walk with my friends (Han Ying, Min Hui) and her mother(Han Mama) .
It's Halloween Season!!
I think between 25th to 28th I went to Compasspoint wanting to get a phone, but to no avail. Instead we (family) bought a DVD player instead because I had hilighted to my pop that the player at home will have jerky images when showing DVD films. I thus rented some DVD to watch and found that it had the same problem as the previous player. So we went back on 28th with the DVD and the player wanting to get a change. But we found out that those rented discs might have been pirated disc. Well.....
In the end i trusted the Courts Salesman and did not change the palyer since the problems are the discs. I think I should start looking for new DVD rental places.

Confession
Confession: It has been a long time since I have bible study session that awed me.
It is a ego thing, I know, and I know that it is wrong. But what is it. Is that the thing that will strike me when attending a good bible study session?
Then I can say that it has really been a long time since this thing hit me. Would I want to consider this thing the Holy Spirit. Who is the one inside me, telling me what is the Good, what is the Bad?
Or is the Holy Spirit only starting work recently? Then it might be considered a very sad thing; needing such long a time to warm up.
Hell with it! (Oops) These few times are good Bible Study sesions.
Why have I not gotten so inspired before after other Bible Study sessions. I learnt and picked up a lot from the recent sessions. I have discovered and made relisations that have never crossed my mind. Somehow my curious mind was satisfied.
Last time I only know that Jesus appearence is supposed to fulfil these prophecies, and now I explicitly know which action he did caused the great revolution among Believers. How exactly parts of the Old Testament linked to the New Testament.
Last time, I only take what was presented to me as it was. Now what I have experienced is that I know why it was like. Roses are red. Violets are blue? It is like that people just accept that red rose is red in colour. But do you know that white light is the light that is shone onto the red rose, and that the other 6 colours are being absorbed, thus only the red is being reflected. That is why our eyes detected this red so the rose appear red. Technically, the rose is not red; it only reflets red light. Christians should have fellowship. People accepts this fact. One can also believe in God, and not to go to Church. He is still a Christian because he is saved, isn't he? Well, fellowship, is made for man to stay close to God. For man to stay solo, it is against God's plan. The church should act as one body as Jesus have always taught. To love and to care about people around you will show that our love comes from God. Our love is limited; God's love is limitless. It is impossible to love everyone around us, unless we are powered by God's love. Coming together as a Body reminds one another of what we are, and that we need God's Love.
We are God's Children and He have us in his mind when we are still formless. You can try to not go Church, but you just remember that you do not answer to the pastor, your church leader, your guardian angel, your buddy, not even your father or mother. You will not face them during the Judgement.
I really hope that such Bible studies sessions are frequent scenes in my life.
Now that I've waited. I might have the chance to know how to prepare and lead a good Bible Study session.
Just pray that We will all get it.

Police Life
Police life.
My team had arrested 2 peeps for commiting an offence of Assaulting a Public Servant. On top of several other offences...
That was in August.
One is me, the other is my other NS colleague. The 2 Public Servant...
For me, we were checking people with this outsider decided to came into the picture and interupt us. Thus, 1 guy managed to escape in the commotion. This guy then tried to hit any Policeman. I was the nearest one. But I did not felt any thing on my back. According to my boss, he hit me at my back. I only saw him kicked my thigh when I turned around. He was like atempting to whack any one to get back at Police before fleeing the scene. But he was caught when the 4 of us chased after him. He was speedy, but not smart as he ran into a dead end (in the big big Orcahrd Road). 2 offences. Obstructing and assaulting.
My colleague case. Well, I only knew that the officers were trying to calm him down. He was not calming down, instead he was getting worse. So have to arrest for him behaving disorderly. Then he started spitting at Officers (all 4 of them), vulgarities flooded the place from his mouth. And my friend got head-buted...
4 offences. Disorderly, criminal force, abusive language, assaulting.
Then on another day, September 9th. I was arresting someone. Then I spotted one very familiar bicycle. At the property storage space.
I met aloysius for breakfast one morning at Serangoon Gardens Macs. Aloysius told me that he had lost his bicycle, well, from his house. Which was very incredible.

My team had arrested 2 peeps for commiting an offence of Assaulting a Public Servant. On top of several other offences...
That was in August.
One is me, the other is my other NS colleague. The 2 Public Servant...
For me, we were checking people with this outsider decided to came into the picture and interupt us. Thus, 1 guy managed to escape in the commotion. This guy then tried to hit any Policeman. I was the nearest one. But I did not felt any thing on my back. According to my boss, he hit me at my back. I only saw him kicked my thigh when I turned around. He was like atempting to whack any one to get back at Police before fleeing the scene. But he was caught when the 4 of us chased after him. He was speedy, but not smart as he ran into a dead end (in the big big Orcahrd Road). 2 offences. Obstructing and assaulting.
My colleague case. Well, I only knew that the officers were trying to calm him down. He was not calming down, instead he was getting worse. So have to arrest for him behaving disorderly. Then he started spitting at Officers (all 4 of them), vulgarities flooded the place from his mouth. And my friend got head-buted...
4 offences. Disorderly, criminal force, abusive language, assaulting.
Then on another day, September 9th. I was arresting someone. Then I spotted one very familiar bicycle. At the property storage space.
I met aloysius for breakfast one morning at Serangoon Gardens Macs. Aloysius told me that he had lost his bicycle, well, from his house. Which was very incredible.

Well, well..
Well well, what have we here, 2 months old of dust for me to start blowing away.

Day one
We went to the city center (which I conveniently forgot the name of the place). Aloysius needed to find white pepper for his boss, which he claimed that is very famous in Batam. But we went to 3 supermarket, however, there is every other spices except white pepper in the spice section. One thing there is that you are able to bargain with the taxi driver regarding the price of the fare, and usually they have no choice but to comply to the request (more like demand) because they have to make a living. One more thing, we really do have the Singaporean Tourist look on the city streets, because wherever we were, the taxi will start to sound theit horn or signal to us asking if we needed a ride. You will not see them doing this to other people along the street. Some drivers who were like resting, will dart out of nowhere, approacing you and straight away they quote a price without you saying anything yet.

Did I mentioned that we went for a 2nd round, and i got this really out of maintananced kart. The accelerator is stuck. So during one of the corner, I skidded into the grass patch, thus i got up and tried to move the kart aside, while doing so, the kart went wild and it moved sightly towards me instead of straight. I (generally) evaded, but unfortunately my left foot forgot to 'siam'. The top of my feet was cut, quite badly. Then came the moment, the only time when I hated alcohol more than ever. The guys used alcohol, and cotton wool to cleanse my wound. Intense is the word to describe all my muscles in my body. I felt like my soul was like a wriggly worm trying to squirm out of a clensed fist, but my tail was stuck to this stupid finger which would not let go. When only my feet is 'alcoholized' my entire body and mind is intoxicated...
Nontheless the karting is really a fulfilling experience.
Dinner at Kelong, Sunset seafood restaurant. Well, actually there was a wedding going on at one side of the restaurant, joyous occasion, wiht music and lights. If not for that,I guessed that our dinenr that night would not be so cosy and romantic, and fun and lame. I remembered when Shawn saying about the flower crab, not being meaty, and that Aloysius said that it's the sweetness of the juice we're after. Then I say to Shawn, "you suck" with loads of pun intended...
Back in the room, all of us are getting ready for the midnight acivity. Bath first, then gather together.

As said, he is in the room. The moment he touched the bed, he concussed. Yin Qing. Never Mind about him, we continued our game of Taboo! whith so much fun. fancy me saying 'whipped cream' when i meant 'shaving cream'...
Day 2
Started the day with a Harris resort breakfast.
Then we hit the chlorine waters! @ the in house pool. We played captain's ball, monkey, and did a bit of tanning. Sorry no pictures for this, because all of us went wet...
The afternoon is the excellent get away!!
Can you believe that this is less than half of what we ordered?? believe it.
The triple stack of lotus leaf rice. With compliments from Aloysius Ong!!
We came, we ordered, we conquered!! (because if not, it would be $1 per piece left)
Look at everybody's satisfied face. (wait till you see their BELLY with capital letters)
Everybody waited for their bouyancy level to decrease before anyone dared to attempt any water-sports.
We started with Banana boating. It is like a speed boat pulling an inflated giant banana. And we have to cling onto the banana. The fun part is: the boat will take an acute turn and the banana will capsize. You can try to counter it, that's the fun part man. Using our abs muscles (ya, right) to try to stay on course is defenitely the challenge!! Next is para-silling. (I dun kno if i got the spelling right)

But what an exhilarating view.

Back on shore. We lay our hands on the ball. Literally. It Volleyball time along the beach on a romantic evening.

And with this romantic atmosphere,
Disaster's in the air!
You know what, well, the ball did landed itself in hot soup, off it rolled into the sea water. So Samuel ran after it and jumped into the waters, not knowing that there are sharp rock edges. So, both his soles got sliced, quite badly. Though he did not sound it out, he eventually told us back in the room. The sand was actually stained with his blood.
