Review

Obviously this entry was not typed and posted on the 31st December. I wanted to make the entries clearer. Today is 4th January 2006. 1405hours.

Ok, The Alumni dinner was special. I was not wha ti had expected: round tables, performances on the hall stage, while we have our dinner. I was a performance, with seats arranged liked in the cinemas then after the performances, we then have our dinner and the get-together at the back of the hall. I brought the camera along without checking out the memory card, and in the end, it was with the 32mb, the smallest capacity memory card we had. I only managed to have 15 shots that night.

Guess which one is my former Mathematics Teacher back in MJC?

After that it was time to go home. Esther, WenSi and I were all going the same direction home. WenSi was actually not feeling too good that day, well, what happened, i do not know too well. Then it was time to alight, all at the same stop. WenSi had to change bus. Esther's place is just right across the street. Well, mine is walking distance away from the stop. WenSi's bus came, she got onto the bus and left. Well, WHAT WAS I THINKING? She was not feeling well, and was actually carrying a paer bag which is quite heavy. Why did not i send her home? The question of the year. In the end i managed to find out that she got home safely. Without a hassel; using wireless technology, the cellphone (what else? Duh!)

Sleep.

Wake up go to work! The last few minutes of 31st December 2005 was spent along Orchard Road, more exactly at Kramat Road. Inside a Police car. Haha, I spotted Shi Min (MJC) at one of the food stall along there while proceeding to atttend a case. Surprised, surprised.

It was an interesting night shift for me as it was the first time i encountered so many happenings. It was my first time sitting in an ambulance, i was performing so many type of Police roles in just a short 12 hours, like patrol, sentry, escort, driver, etc.

As i have said, this entry is not in the correct time, it is just to facilitate my blogging for these few days, well, cya soon peeps!

Next up, i'll be talking about church and shopping trips with MJC guys!

Mistakes

I certainly has an affinity with mistake.

First i made several quite disturbing mistakes during work. Forget to write this, forget to sign that etc. Well at least i have a forgiving partner, or else i do not even dare to think how the end of me will look like.

Well, yesterday is my inservice. There is a slight change. Now it's decentralised, meaning that the first half will be at HQ, the second half will be back at station. Then after that our new Big Boss initiated a jogging session. Another mistake related to me. I had not exercise regularly for the past one month, and this run with another young, fit man, is terribly a good mistake. Panting sounds called for the end of the joging session. After that, Louis and I went to Kovan to have our dinner.

After dinner, Louis headed for home via the MRT. I continued to walk around Heartland mall. I bought printer ink. Then i had initially wanted to buy a notebook from Popular. Mistake. The queue was long, trust me. I then went down to the watch shop. Well, ther is quite a deal there. Adidias watch 80's style selling for $60. U.P. $95. I was a bit tempted, but guessed that i wanted something else although that adidas timepeace loks great. Next i went to BodyShop to take a look at the perfumes there. Did not buy too. Still deciding.

Oh ya, did i mentioned that i went to watch Chronicles of Narnia on the 28th morning with some of the SF peeps at Bishan? Yep. The visual is stunning. Good cinematics. The actors acted well, really well. There are scenes which touches your heart (you might feel strangely familiar with some scenes, like as if you are the person or something). The message behind the show is clear. The Movie is good for all ages, but very comprehensive for people of our age. Then we went to the BodyShop there to just to make scents. Well....

Okay, at heartland mall, after taking a look at BodyShop, i went to NanYang Optics to make enquiries about the frame that i was looking for, but was sadly being informed that they could not get it. Then i proceeded for home.

I bumped into Samantha, Candice and their sister. This time, i saw Candice first. Well, i was jokingly mistaken for following them. I was not following anyone, and will not do so, unless duty bound during work, that is another story. Well we alighted at the stop leading to church. Then hanged around the gate for a while, chatting. Mistake again. I was tricked by them, when they pulled a prank on me. Well, i was too tired last night, and well, my job require me to take down facts from the people. If it so happened that they are not that truthful, they might be charged for giving false report by the court. Well, i was too tired. So is that a valid excuse? Haha. Zi Yun was there too. She a Meridian Junior, and i walked her to the bus stop. chatted with her and find out how Meridian is doing now. Found out that they managed to fix the leak onthe ceilling. Wow.

I then returned home almost dead beat. Haha. Hmmm...

Later on, evening, i'll be going for a Alumni Dinner back at MJC. Hope to see ya friends there! I've promised Joy to take photographs! Now that is no mistake!

After that , the rest of the days.

Nothing much to elaborate for 22nd, 23rd december. Except for a few words. Busy, crazy and dangerous.

Busy, no doubt, Crazy, as expected, Dangerous, well some of you might know what i meant, right? 23rd december, someone going around checking out. Stressed.

24th, right after my night shift, as usual, i went to have my lunch, that day, i went to Kova, Yoshinoya to have beef & salmon bowl. I went home immediately to have my share of rest, because i am expected to be attending a 1724 meeting. But at 5pm, i tried to wake up, but to no avail. I could not get up, although i woke up. Then it was 7pm, finally i was able to get up, but i was not feeling too good. Have a headache and felling feverish. Feeling nausea too. Pop 2 Panadol pills. Watched "a Blessed Christmas" in the state of half-consciousness. Then my father came home. Had some fruits as i did not have dinenr. Soon after i finished watching the show then i asked my father to accompany me to the doctor's. We took a $2.40 + $1 taxi trip there. Then spent a $72 medical fee for me to get a 5minute consultation, 4 packs of medication and a medical certificate. I took a 'stop the nausea' pill as advised by the doctor. i felt worse by the second. We took the bus home.

After alighting from the bus, within walking distance, i vomitted at the void deck of the block opposite the bus stop. Wow, felt better instantly. Would not have went to the doctor if i had vomitted earlier to spent the $72. Haha. well, at least i could have another day of rest today. My mom and sis arrived home to discovered that the vomit they noticed at the void deck belonged to me.

25th Christmas, My sister and i went to Church. Well she got a lot of praises from the friends and pastor at Church. Haha, Good, good. Well, both Sherman and i were dressed up for the occasion in nice chic blazers! Next after the programme, my sister went to meet her friend. Then i went to the highly anticipated celebration. At Cheryl's / Han Wei's house. We had a gift exchange, well to think that the gals did it in private inside Cheryl's room, without letting us, the gus, share the cosiness and the rowdiness of the entire gift exchange. we (the guys) thought that it was going to be done simultaneously. In the end, the 4 of us ended up drawing lots for our gifts. haha. I got Haojie's, he got mine, Wei got sherman's and vice versa.

Dinner at Downtown East Foodcourt! A lot of us opted fot the Fish Soup. Well, the fish slices tasted sweet and is very fine. But i thought that the soup is not flavourful enough. I then headed home not long after that.

When i got home, i then called my bosses that i have to utilise my Medical certificate. I guess i must. Because my stomach still give me to butterflies, maybe moths too. Hope they will fly away by today. You see I did not really want to get sick on Christmas eve. I was initially contempalting to take leave on Boxing day when my boss had offered us the chance on our last shift. I approach them after the vacancies were taken, and got a small earful. Well this Medical certificate costed $72. More than my meal allowance. And almost one sixth of my monthly pay. Well... Medical fees versus Pay.

Refershing...

21st December. Hmmm... Well, Aloysius drove to my place, we had a little "exchange programme". He came here to exchange some of my clothes with his.Next, i took a ride on his family blue Mercz, driven by him, to his place. It was my turn to take my pick.

Next before we left his house, he brought me to a place. Johore Battery.

Johore Battery is actually a National education site just off Changi, We can actually see the airport from Johore Battery. It is actually the site where the Monster Guns are strategically placed during the War times for our National Defence then.

Then off we then to Changni Village. But just as Aloysius finished parking his car, he received a call. Then we are off, in the car again, without our lunch. His father called up, he had a schedule to follow, so Aloy went to the SAFRA Changi to fetch his father, we are okay with that as we are not that hungry. Then we ended up at Kembangan MRT station.

We ended up having Carl's Junior at Marina, with Xue Qian. Wow, great lunch man. I actually acked then the math trick question Constance asked 1724 on saturday, but we got more confused. So we shopped around Marina Square, but bought nothing. Shopped around Suntec, too bought nothing. Went back to City-Link, because i wanted to try out some shorts from the surf brands. In the end, i found nice bermudas, but it was too expensive. about $90? Ya. So we then continued walking towards the direction of the MRT station. Just then saw another fellow Meridian, a smarter one. We then ask him the math question too. He was initially confused but said he will continue to think through it on his way on the MRT with Aloy & Qian.

I had to do my Christmas shopping, thus i carried on walking at Raffles City. Just then, there was a Harp performance, titled Cannon in D (i think it's in D). Heavenly sounds. Well i managed to buy the present for the Han's residence Christmas celebration, and another for Hao Jie. But i really could not find for the otehr dear Brothers and Sister.

I was getting late. I had to go home.

Another Shopping Trip... sianz

Saturday, (17th) i went out with Aloysius, Amanda and Andy. Amanda had to leave for work at Liang Court at a Japanese restaurant, so she left at about 5pm. We were at Guess Ngee Ann City at that point of time. Well, then it's all boys then! Haha!!

But the day was not as interesting, well, because i had walked almost the whole of Orchard Road a few days ago. Well, except Heeren and Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya. So basically, since i had already done my walking days ago, i went there to be their critic and also to give comments. aloy bought a S$20 SEED jeans from Taka and Andy bought a pair of S$99 Adidas brown coloured shoes from Heeren. In the end we all decided to go to Cineleisure to have our dinner.

We were very indecisive to whether to what to have for dinner. So we went to Yoshinoya, Cineleisure. At there, we realised that there is a Long John Silver right beside it, then we all simultaneously agreed to go there. Wow, great dinner, to our satisfaction.

I was quite full, and i was initially going to meet my parents and sisters who are over at Plaza Singapura. i was thinking that the walking from Somerset to dhoby Ghaut will do some good to my digestion since i had such a good meal that night. Then Aloysius was there trying to pursuade me to accompany him & Andy to take the train from Somerset. I was contemplating betwen whether to walk or to take the train. Haha, he was like:" you are lazy, although you you are not, but you want to take the train although you really want to walk" that type of negative motivation. Successful. I took the train. One reason because, i thought of meeting my parents just to be able to take taxi home with them (lazy lah), and of course now i am lazy to walk such a distance (laziness compromised). Second, because there will be companionship along part of the way.

At the stop for me to change over (Dhoby Ghaut Interchange) i alighted and waved goodbye to Aloysius and Andy, and soon after i was waving hi to someone else. You see, it was not far, to be exact, one carraige down; as i was walking towards the stairs leading from NSL to NEL, when i spotted someone with a very familiar hairstyle. She is Samantha (in a nice red Fila tee). Of course, i waved to her with a 'hello' and then i noticed her other sisters right beside her. Candice (in a bright blue top) and their youngest sister (also in a blue tee), whom at this point of time cannot recall her name (i'm truly sorry). Then we started chatting and finding out why each party is at that location. Well, should i say, that all of us were shopping, although we all had made no purchase?

On the NEL train home, towards Serangoon, we all can know that Candice is exremely interested to have a career (like i have mentioned in an entry long time ago). I also find out that she had decided to stay in JC after having stuck in a dilemma having to continue or try out Polytecnic. Hey, i was not eavesdropping, alright? Just heard that information from friend. Generally we chatted about National Service, Church (bread talk, nope, i cannot go, but i'll be in church that day), our house (we're neighbours you know!) When we reached our station, i was informed that their father was picking them up in a "kangaroo van". I made several guess, cause the concept sounded like Han Wei's father's vehicle. I guesses "mercez?" wrong answer. Then i guessed " FIAT?" Correct answer. Well she offered me a ride home. I answered that I would if it was not a hassal to them. Candice suggested that i can run home and see who gets there first. Well, we were already at the vehicle. It was a mini van, the so-called kangaroo van, interesting. Thus i got a ride home, and thanked them for the ride. Smooth Ride, continued chatting. I thanked their father again when we reach our area.

Well, as for today's event, i shall update tomorrow, it is now already 22/12/05 0030hourshours, i should be resting.

Basically, i met Aloysius, have a NE lesson, exchanged cloths (great way to expand our wardrobe), went for lunch, went shopping at Suntec, solved a mathematical IQ question, and i'm back home again. Soon after, i registeres for my SAT, chatted with Hao Jie, and was Blogging. OK, i really got to go now.

My First pair of Levi's Jeans

Hey, i got my 1st pair of Levi's Jeans at JB City Square! I went shopping with my family over our neighbour country. It cost me RM219, which initially i am not very sure whether if it was cheaper or the same price back home. I was wanting to get it at a even better price, well, if possible. Then i messaged Min Hui and Hao Jie, to find out the prices of the Levi's 512 at Singapore. They recalled it to be about more than S$100 (they guessed 140?). Well i calculated it to be about S$90, and i returned back to the Levi's Store at level one after we finished shopping the other floors.

YEAH! My 1st Pair! "More will come my way!" i cheekily told my mother. Haha

Shopping!

I went out with MinQi today. We have not met up since a long time ago. She had not change much, still as elegant as ever. Like a swan, some will say, but a more tanned version. It was nice seeing old friends again. We started our shopping at Queensway Shopping Centre. Saw nothing of interest much, basically a lot of shoes, and some men's clothings. Although i saw a very nice pair of spectacle, Hugo Boss 15585, i did not buy it, because i was still looking out for other suitable modles, and also the shop is so far, very inconvenient to go collect, or to repair, have a quick fix if anything happen. I have not claimed the Flexi-benifit, that is why i'm looking at spectacles.

Then we went down to Orcahrd (reminded me of something very familiar). We reach Orchard first at Shaw House. I have told her of the small corner at level 3 which have a mini 90%off sale of different products during different weeks. I also spotted the Chinese New Year Shirt that Aloysius bought for about $40 or so. It is only $29 today there. Then we walked towards the direction of Far East Plaza. On the way, we walked into some of the shops too, but also, did not see much.

Went to Pacific Plaza, nothing much, except loads of Surf brands products.

At Far East Plaza, while we were looking around, she saw this skirt *hint hint to Daniel* that she liked so very much, and she told me that the last time she was there, she also saw this skirt, as it caught her attention instantly. *triple hint hint to Daniel, can u get it?* Next i pop by Purple, at Level1 to visit Kai Yun, she is doing fine then. She was wering a black top. At that time, she only waved at me, but then did not really came out and say 'hi' or anything. I then walked into the shop and chatted with her. she asked me if she was my Girlfriend, well of course i answered honestly, no. And it's then i found out that her sister is working at the upper floor today. Then next i walked past the shop selling the skirt again, and again, MinQi was there eyeing the skirt, telling me how much she like it *quadriple hint hint to Daniel*. We then continue our shopping and of course to look out for Kai Hui to say 'hi'. I got to meet Kai Hui, and chatted with her too! Well, to tell people the truth, not every girl that i was with at Far East is my Girlfriend. The last time i was at Far East with my sister, i also went to pop by Kai Hui's work place, she asked me if she was my Girlfriend. That was last time. And everytime i asked her if she has eaten, she has always done so. Haha. Then i found out that she is amking time to go to the Christmas event at Han Ying/ Han Wei's place, which is good! Because they are getting themselves more involved in Church stuffs, step by step.

After Far East we walked to Tangs. I informed that there is a very nice perfume, Ralph Lauren Romance Silver. We tried it at Tangs first floor. Silver a new variation of the Romance series. I thought the Silver is the nicest smelling of the series, comprising of the original, Blue and the Silver. She thought so too. The other 2 is too strong. The other levels of Tangs are quite boring. Then as were about to leave, i spotted someone ,whose back is facing us, who looked very much like Evelyn. I mentioned that to her. She said that the girl did resembles Evelyn. We walked to the front, and she is really Evelyn. She asked us whether we are going to the Alumni Diner, and our answer is yes. Then she was saying that she was not sure and that she is still trying to pursuade the other girls to go. Well, i advised her to really pursuade, because it has been such a long time since we all meet up. She was in a hurry and left.

Walking along an interesting stretch of Orchard Road, Lucky Plaza. The shops there are built in such a unique way that they are sort of like a small basement. It was getting late, so we continued out way, towards Plaza Singapura.

At Plaza Singapura, our initial intention was to watch a movie, but seeing that the timing was not very appropriate, we decided not to catch the show. On our way down ehe escalator to basement, we bumped into Valerie and sorry I cannot remember what is your name, Valerie, please remind me again. So together, the 3 of us went to the food court to have out dinner, while MinQi is returning home to cook part of her dinner for her family, well, she and her sister shared the workload. Before i had my dinner Valerie introduced me her friend who is working at Yamaha, Jonathan. So we all had dinner together, althought Jo had his earlier, he accompanied the group to the Food Court which is just next door. After my meal, as usual i went to get some fruits, a bag of Guava, a stick of Grapefruit and a slice of Pineapple. It all amounted to $2.80. So expensive, if i should have known, i would have gotten less, like the guava should sufice.

After dinner, the 2 girls went to study at Valerie's Church at Park mall; they still have got their test tomorrrow. I went to Yamaha, the other part where Jo was not working at (he is at the instrument side, i went to the books side). I was wanting to buy a guitar sheet music book of Movie or Television Show titles, but there were none. I went to Mos to get myself a Coffee Milk Shake as a treat to myself before i embark on the train journey home.

I was at Kovan and went to enquired about the Spectacles at NanYang Optics. The shopkeeper said he would help me to make enquires about that particular model. It was at Kovan also that i realised that i wanted to check out the prices of Sun tan lotion back then at Far East Plaza Watson.

Finally, I am home. Tomorrow, I will be going to another Shopping Trip. This time I promise myself to buy, at least a pair of fitting, nice, beautiful Jeans!

I'm On Leave!!

I'm on leave! quite a long break to say.

Ok, quite a few major happenings happened these few days.

The dinner was great! Really. Although we got some tricks up our sleeves, which me and my lovely assistant performed to perfection. Haha. i would not reveal what that was, you know the saying, Reduce, REUSE, Recycle.

After that, i went to the arcade wth Addison and Minhui, played some (actually 3) shooting games and one classic Hong Kong game. Jay had wanted to play some Billard, so he went ahead with his game, and met with us later on. The bus ride was quite short, but through some eerie Old Tampines Road. Haha.

The night was over soon, but then the afternoon had reminded me of a familiar scene. Thursday afternoon, Qin Yi requested for help with the preparationof the Christmas event invitation card. While there, Esther was not there, but soon after i joined the group of girls with the preparation, i realised that the essence of Esther is present. The sprit, the flow of that energy, you just got that feeling. Qin Yi, just liek her sister, started her tauntings and teasings. Furthermore regarding the same topic as her sister's. Prove me wrong if i say that that both of them are not alike. Maybe it is a girl thing... ...

Come Friday, i went to Bugis with my sister, had lunch at the Long John Silver. We tried our luck at the scratch and win draw, but to no avail. Okay now, although i had no Girlfriend, but why, please tell me why. Why do i have to endure the pure torment of answering the ultimate question of "do i look fat in this?"? Is my sister putting me through 'the' training? At the end of the day, although i was ready to spend some money, we only bought a CD each. My sister bought "little Pig's" Chui Mian Show, while i bought Kenny G's At last... The Duets Album. She had a 'few' more purchase than me, by buying some Hello Kitty items. We returned home after having dinner at the food court there.

I had to work on Saturday. The usual Saturday is actually a relatively quiet shift for us. Well, for reasons i can think of such as, that the public are happily shopping, and not making trouble, and that they would not want to call the police to spoil their day. Well. And we had a system of doing half-half shift. I was doing sentry first and patrol second. My colleague and i have a challenge to see who will be the least busiest. I would lose almost everytime. There was once, i took first half patrol and got only a case. He came back with none. I mean wow.... anyway, Saturday, he got 1 case, then change over to me. I got 5. See what i mean? Busy. I had an initial plan to leave station at 9pm, so to reach home in time to watch Cast Away 1030pm. I leave station only at about 11pm. Nontheless, i watched the show, and bath after that.

Finally, my favourite day, Sunday. There was a bit of complication then and there among the people who should be having an evaluation meeting. They got it over by postponing it. The meeting should be held during the afernoon after lunch. But some of them have to go distribute our invitaion card. Timing clash. So, most of us went to send Jay off, at the Airport. The starting part was alright, just the usual, chatting and having photographs taken, hanging around, asking each other if any help was needed. The more emotional part came in when Jay and his Mother was about to walk into the departure gate. A lot of the girls cried, and no, not Hao Jie. Can you feel the pepper tonight... Well, to reveal to y'all, the emotional high for me was the point when he walked past and out of sight, being blocked by the wall, the point when i cannot get to see his silhouette. The dinner that night was not very good, simply we went to the wrong place to eat. The staff canteen of the Airport. Quite expensive and not that delicious.

Monday, yesterday. i basically lazed around the day time, resting. In the evening, We meet up at the coffee beside video ez for dinner. HanWei, Jeannie, her sister, Minhui, Daryl, Esther, HaoJie, me. Darly was the latest. We had about 50dollars of food. Then we proceeded to Esther's place for the 'usual' Monday night movie. Initially, Monster-in-law was being played, then i voiced out 'coach carter' then simultanously people said that they felt that Coach Carter would be better, so we switched. It was a terrific show, check out the comments on LCCSF's blog. Then MinHui and i walked to check out the BBQ pits. There was a group BBQing there. So i enquired on how to book the place. At first a girl replied that we can book via her dad, and gave us a number. later we found out that the number is the RC's number.

Today, i went out at about 10am to Hougang Gymnasium. Wow, there are loads of people, a lot of JC students. i thought that there wil lbe very little people being a weekday, but i was wrong. I was at a lost as i do not have a programme to follow. Then after that i went to have a swim next door, at the Hougang Swimming Complex. 15 laps, and i hav a 45minutes tan there. I felt so good, but the swimming trunk imprints were ugly, Yhew!

I realised that i can type a one month entry and a 4 days entry to the same length. Haha. well...

The Final day to keep my promise

Okay, let me finish up whatever that was left of the month. (refer to the previous 2 entries)

After the night shift, i was on course again. It was like going to be another week without work. That made me missed 2 weeks of exercises, because the free days are irregular. I was attending the Stress Management course at IPAM Civil Service College. Together was Lester and Ivan from my NPCO 1 squad. Actually i also met Mr Donnell Koh's colleague, a Lab Tech there. On the first day, 1st December, which was my Inservice day. I hearsd that the other colleagues are building snadcastles at East Coast Park, that would be till 7pm, while the course is office hours. Di d i mentioned that i went to the wrong building at Buona Vista? When i step into the door of the correct place, the instrctor just called out me name. Accurate.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Well, the amazing thing is hat i was able to meet up with old friends. My group had finished our lunch at Tanjong Pagar Market and was returning back to the college, when i thought i saw someone i knew. She was wearing black office wear, walking towards my direction. I stared hard at her, but i thought that she did not noticed me because i read from some newspaper saying that if one look long enough at someone, that someone would feel that he/she is being watched, so i did not gave much thought, i merely sent her a sms message after she walked past me. There was no reply.

After the course, i was trying to get friends out at a last minute attempt via sms. I was waiting at the MRT station. While i was waiting for replies, a young lady approached me, initially identifying herself as a financial advisor promoting insurance policies. After much talk and questioning, she found out that I was not her target group of customers, so she changed her topic, and asked me:"where do you go on Sundays?" I replied her:"Sundays, i go to church." She was initially stunned, but later she told me that she was actually thinking of inviting me to church. She had also informed me that there was a programme at Church of Our Savior on the very next day. I was so gald that there are "baby Christians" who are so passionate about the Great Commision even though she is a "baby". Well, Miracles of the Almighty God, since then till eternity. Next i went to Bugis alone, to do some window shopping.

At Bugis MRT station, i met Nurul from the first 3 months MJC term. She was as excited as i was, but she was going to work, so we did not chat much. Next up the elevator, i met Serene, my colleague from another team. Talking about coincidences. Actually my trip there was to take a look at various casual type of blazer available. I did not see much. I was getting bored thus, i thought of the incident that happened earlier on. I then calld up the friend that supposed i hav met. Michelle. When i called her, she was busy learning driving, so i asked her one question:"were you at Tanjong Pagar just now?" Then she, surprisingly:"oh so that was really you!" She put down the phone shotly as she has got to continue her lesson.

I went home after i had dinner at BK. At around 11something Michelle called up and we did some catching up, mentioned the friends back then while she was still in MJC, about how we are doing now. Then agreed to meet up for breakfast.

2nd December. Breakfast as agreed. We had it at a Muslim restaurant near Tanjong Pagar. She has not changed a lot, but grew prettier, removed her braces, finally get to see her in another outfit other than school uniform. I had only wanted iced coffe, but she insisted sharing one of the kueh with me. Well, how can you reject a lady like that?

The course ended stree free, and i was going the Church of Our Savior with Esther and Haojie, but Esther could not make it, only Haojie went with me. I met up Michelle again as she was on her way home, it was her last day of internship.

The worship service at the church was loud and powerful , but somehow i felt (MY PERSONAL FELINGS) that i was not as "touched" as when i was in my own church, maybe it was the environment.

I Lost my EZ-link and Haojie lost his shoe together with the shoe bag during the duration of the Badminton game on Saturday 3rd. I went out with Russell, a long lost Russell, to Orcahrd road. the place was crowded, so we had to settle our meal at a Food Court at Scot s.c. Then after took a walk along Orcahrd Road. Nice meeting you bud!

Later on today(finally today's here) , we'll be having a dinner at Sakura Tampines with our Dear Jay, cause he is returnign back to Hokg Kong. We'll miss you. I got a irritated shock when my boss called me p and told me i got extra duty tonight. But it was a misunderstanding after all. Phew yeah.

Had i mentioned everything? I thought so.

Continued...

The Big day was here. Sunday 27th November was here. Revivre. Our dear Mr Raymond. The Thunder God. The time and effort spent on the last 5 weeks was has not gone down the drain. The decorations, the rehearsals, the leaflets, the manpower, all has been put to good use. Used to glorify God's name! Althought i had not take any photographs on that day, we actually had a video taken, of course it was not by me. the turn out that day was over expectation, a total of about 50+ people. Praise the Lord, for we are faithful. Seeing so many people, no douth is a happy scene. The performance was really a powerful one. It was enhanced with Raymond's life story which was pumped up with a lot of impact. Some of us even bought his autographed CD and took some pictures with him.

Well the next day, as mentioned, i went to watch the Harry Potter movie with my SFers. At Golden Village Marina again. Always the same place.

I went back to work for one night shift then i was on course again.

It is late now, i think I'll contine tomorrow, i now have truely learnt my lesson: to blog frequently, wow, it was tiring man, to try and recall so many events that happened throught hte month. well at least i'll try to keep my promise by completing the entries by tomorrow! Tata for now. Thank You for being so patient.

For the past month or so

For the past month or so, the happenings can be sumarised briefly as follows. I continue to update, haha, so as not to disappoint myself.

Starting with Sunday, 13th November. I was on morning shift that day, while i was getting ready to perform my duty; I bent down to adjust the seat, just then, something flashed a beam of light, across the right side of my face, there goes the button off the right shoulder of my uniform where the ampulet is. Then, I went looking for help, forst from my counter officer. She sugested using safetly pin, but she did not have any, so i went to seek for the others. Fortunately the previous shift's officer always carry safety pins and he too is using safety pin for the uniform on his back. Another same shift officer also had the pins, but since I took his, I then did not take hers. The final step is to get the safety pin onto the uniform. Initially, i did it very "uglyly". Upon seeing that, the counter officer also could not stand the sight of it, she then offered to help me. Sigh. One small button, yet it had caused such a huge fuss.

Can you see the shaft of the safety pin at right side of the button?

Next on the 17&18, it was the last tour of one of our beloved officer, the one who did NDP NE show duty with me, the one whom i had known about the first insight of my team from.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

I was doing my day shift with him. Initially he was the driver, then somehow i took over as the driver, and poor him, he had to do all the report, all the writing instead of me, haha. He was saying :"what the world is coming to, a NS guy bullying a regular" haha, of course, he meant that to be a joke. I will always remember you as my mentor, the person who let me have knowledge of what is in store for me in my a year or so.

IDC, Intermediate Developmental Course. Indirectly, it is a promotion course. I got to meet up with a lot of my Squad 54 and my NPCO 1 squadmated. The get together is a great feeling. Having seeing so many of my friends who went through months in the same room, sleeping on the bed next to each other, the feeling is simply terrific. So much to catch up, so many topic to share with. Especially during the lunch and dinner when i really get to understand my friends in the same station as i am. Louis and SK. We had dinner together at Chomp Chomp(serangoon gardens) I had a churning stomach after finishing my serving of spicy stingray. Monday (28) was the last day. SK and i went to watch Harry Potter at Marina with my SF friends! Great time, really.

SsmackK!! Yum Yum!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Wow, i had a wonderful dinner just now.

Yum Yum! Really satisfactory. I went for a jog at around 1730, right after I put down the phone, talking to the telephone operator who took down my orders. She told me it would arrive in 30 minutes time, i told her it is okay, and thanked her.

It was quite some time since i went for a jog, thus i was feeling not up to it to finish my usual four rounds. So, after two rounds, i slowed down for my last two rounds. When i was about to finish my fourth round, I had an urge to push myself further; to train my stamina. Then I speeded up for another two rounds, finishing six rounds. Fulfilling.

I reached home at about 1830. My father was home already, my cousin and sister had their share of Pizza. We ordered the new triple cheese country pizza, one more Hawaiaan pizza, star shaped harsh browns, wings and nachos, that cost us $41.84 inclusive of GST. Haha.

It was so tempting, see? The above pictures. Wow. Then after a jiffy, see the result, wah, so fast.

Then after that, i was upfront the computer, uploading pics and blogging.

Merely was i greting a friend. Well, no need to get so uptight about anything.

Quick update

Yupp, Aloysius, Daniel and me went to watch Flightplan after much ordeal. Haha. It was because, its either Aloysius or me who cannot seems to make the compromise to go to certain places or to do certain activities. So yesterday night, we came to no decision. But today, finally able to go out with some of my JC peeps.

Aloysius and me realised that one of us should get another of those cool jacket, we might be able to share it. We suddenly thought of sharing wardrode, because this way, we somehow could have double our clothings; things to wear, em, that excludes underwears! STRICTLY! Haha. And, oh, we realised that Daniel looked too good in uniform than the usual way he dresses. Well...

Hope to have more gatherings. Really!!

Rest. Rest.

Today. Second off day. Might be able to rest the fatigued mind, well i have gave my tired body the entire whole day! Since i got home yesterday, i was in bed till evening and then i went back to bed at night. Till i had a backache.

Had a nice tour the past days. The incidents are quite managable. Hey, talking about that, about the Cineleisure case, i must say: i am NOT the first PO this time. Not everytime. But i have heard how pityful the person is. Nothing else i heard.

Today. I do not know whether to go to Creative and collect the Zen Micro. Felt much like doing so, especially when there are road works happening down at the tar road at the carpark along the void decks. They are making a new exit for the carpark, and i really had nothing else much to do anyway. i could do with a shopping around Jurong point, or catch a movie there after collecting the player. Well, i will see if the situation permits my actions today. If the day agrees with my thoughts.

Been Stood Up

Hey, Russell, youu stood me up. Sad man. It's only a minor headache. Sigh. Our friendship is on the threat of a small headache. Haha. The thing is that, i tried calling you up for aapproximately 45 minutes, from 4:45pm to 5:30pm. No reply. Time wasted only. I was so excited to watch that movie. Actually i had a movie marathon event in the afternoon, watching Son of the Mask and Daddy Day Care. Funny show, but Son of the Mask was totally nonsense. Although it's sort of strenous to my eyes, but for the movie, and for going out with friends, i do not mind. I tried messaging Russell sice the afternoon, but then he replied with a message saying he is having a headache. GGGRRR!!!

Anyway, i called up Aloysius right after the last time i tried to call Russell, at about 5:31pm. Then he invited me to his new place. Gladly i accepted the invitation because i do not want to waste a saturday day off. So i sped off and bulleted towards the bus stop.

Just as i reached his place, Valerie called up. I informed her about my curent status and then did not join her in her proposed activity. Oh, wow! Aloysius's new place is big, so much bigger compared to the condominium unit he used to stay. Although some of the furniture are already there, there still are missing some. Thus the cosy feeling of a home is still not quite there yet, but i am sure that soon, when the rest of the furniture comes in, the warm feeling of homeliness will soon fill the place.

Next Aloysius, his cousin Rayn, and i went to Tampines to have our dinner. We went to a restaurant Phins (did i get the spelling correct?). I recommended the Cornish Game Hen to Aloysius, and he regreted it much. Not because of the taste, in fact it tasted great; not any like the regular chicken, but it is the way that he (or he do not know how to) cut the chicken that made him regret. Rayne had a steak with a tinge of alcohol, and i had Kelong Delight. I should say the Tampines branch is not as good as the Bugis Branch. Somehow the taste lsot out by a bit, but overall, i would give the restaurant a 8/10 points! Anyway, he mentioned that that would be my Birthday treat, well, i am fine with that!

Tata for now! (",)

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Yesterday, as usual, i went jogging. I met the girl next door, well, more of the girl next block. She is this interesting girl, with loads of wild ideas in her mind, such as passing items by throwing it acorss the block, or using torch light morse code to talk across the block. I met her and her another friend at the park where we all jogged, I tried inviting them to a drink at the coffee shop near to our place, but both of them rejected the offer, saying that they are going to have dinner when they reach home. Her friend also a churchmate, reached her place first, as it was nearer from the jogging place. Then we continued to walked towards our block. She was so worried that people always get her and her sister's name mixed up. Well Candice, i for one, do not have that problem. I can tell you apart from Samamtha. Being a pilot is sure hard work, even for the boys. I really do not know if the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) takes in female pilots. I know they have other key appointments which are being held by female officers, but I am not sure about pilots. Well, Candice, if one have a dream, one got to find out how to fulfil it. Oh ya, then we were talking about a guy's appitite and that he eats everything when we were approaching the coffee shop. Well, do we really eat everything? Guys, say something, defend youeself! One thing for sure is that, for so long I have been in church, this is the first year that I have really get to know more people from the other Church ( 1 Building holding 2 Church. Mine, for the chinese speaking community, and theirs, for the english speaking community).

Today, i did not go out with Russell, neither did i go to Creative. It was too late by the time i finish typing my entry just now, should have decided earlier, really. I was disappointed with the decision. But besides the bad decision made, the weather did not really grant anyone the permission to go out. The rain simply keeps one in; makes me want to stay home instead of getting wet. That comforted me a bit. I then called up Russell, and i can hear that he was also a little dejected, but he made me promised to go out with him on saturday, I'm okay with that. Haha. After that, i stayed home and had a great dinner.

Tomorrow is my day shift. It is not the end. After the shift, there will be a operation going on. So my working hours starts on 19october 0800 till 2000, then at 2200 report fot operation and it will end at 20october about 0700 hours. In a sense, in any organisation, whenever is punctuality a problem? Usually we will need to report earlier and kock off later, that is all. Technically, it is about 24hours, plus plus plus... ...

Gotta sleep now! For tomorrow! (",)

Wah! Sightings!

It woul be weird if you are an office worker and suddenly, one day while working, your friends (lots of them) pop up right in front of your face. But it will not be if you are doing field work and you get to walk the streets of Orchard Road, especially on one of the Saturdays. Last saturday, 15october, my team was dispatched to attend an incident along Orchard MRT station underpass. While proceeding to the exact location,my partner saw her frined, while i was wondering what was the probability that i would chanced upon mine, Daniel and Minqi (JC peeps) saw me, well, as expected, Daniel gave me a very gay slap on my arm. I was initially a bit shocked to see them, but got over it a second later, as I need to concentrate on my job. At my standby point, the underpass itself, Joe Koh (Secondary school buddy) chatted with him, he asked me about my NS and was sort of comparing with his, he also commented that i did not change one bit since the last time he saw me. Haahaa, is that good or bad news? Next I saw the Police OCT guys Xiao Hui, thought he did not reconised me, and also Song Loo, who gave me a very warm smile and waved to me. My team was stuck there for about 3 hours and man, our poor feets were tired. The day was not complete yet for without the next incident which adds to more torment to our legs. Right after we left the underpass, along the filter lane of Scots road into Orchard road, an accident, right in front of our eyes, actually it was right behind our heads. We were walking from a Toyota Wish parked at the end of the filter lane, when a motocycle sped past us and smashed right into it. We had to get the ambulance and to inform the incident to the various departments while standing. Directing taffic, waiting for Trafic Police arrival, and looking after both parties. Tired legs. Few case, but long procedures.

Well i was accused of seeing something that i did not see, and because i was true to God, true to myself, that i would be like Job, that i have made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl (Job 31:1). Well, it was like this, there was a commotion among a couple, and by the time my team arrived, the guy was like pulling and tugging the girl. As she was wearing someting like a tube, certain something should be out on the lose according to me partner. We were right in front of them, when i saw to that they have stop the struggle, i saw the girl pulling up the tube like dress. During debriefing, they were like teasing me saying that i should have. I denied i saw anything. Truth. My TeamLeader jokingly commented that he know that I did not see, but since the whole team was so sure that i did, it was really such a waste that i did not. Well, i beg to differ. I have a covenant with my eyes you know, and I have a covenant with God.

And yet, the tour was not completed yet when we had not once again came across incidents during my night shift on the 17october. Some security guard has to be so fussy such that he had wanted the Police to do something when someone kicking some bin along the road, the best is that he could not really tell if the damages were done by the people whom he pointed out. It was during our standby at a certain Nightspot along Orchard Road. Well I have learnt a lesson to ask when in doubt no matter how pissed off or how busy my in-charge is, and to record the correct person's statement. Silly me.

Today, now is 1645, and i am still considering if i wanna go out or not; to Creative to collect my cousin's Zen micro and for a movie with Russell after that. We will see.

2nd event, coming right up

The Next event, was also near. At Pasir Ris. it was Andy's birthday celebration in advanced. Well, it was meant to be a surprised ne. But things went a bit wrong here, and a bit haywired there. The suspicion factor was basically, there. Yupp, it all started when early in the morning when Andy found out his mom had bought alot of fresh ingredients, commonly used only for steamboat. Next was Amanda showing him her phone displaying the missed calles from Andy's mother new number. Earlier, on a different date was Leo's and Bamboo's miscommunication about going out with him one of the coming saturdays.Subsequently the afternoon og the 24th was a hard time for Amanda to keep Andy away from home while preparation works comence.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We had a hard time laughing real hard after the steamboat dinner, and the cake treat. Why? Because all of us dig out several "Campfire games" such as [Black Magic], [How many mae mae jumped over the wall], [1 2 3], [I like mummy but I don't like mum] etc etc. But one of it was one weblink Aloysius just found on the Web. We used real dice to play the game at Andy's place. http://crux.baker.edu/cdavis09/roses.html Try it, its called [Petals around the rose] take note of the last sentence of the first paragraph of the Background. The funny part is not about figuring out the pattern of the game, but figuring out the pattern of Bamboo figuring out the game. I am telling you this, it was really a hard laugh. Haahaa!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

What a wonderful day. Yupp, it was one of the saturdays (24th sept 05) when i have 1724, a fellowship of my church that comprises people of 17 till they are 24! Cool combination. I remembered that day was emotional. Remembering the times about 5 years ago, when my Student Fellowship organised a night tour, and the last destination was Changi Beach. On 24th, it was a picnic outing, and while on the journey, we passed by the route when we used to reach Changni beach 5 years ago. Fascinating.

Emotional would be the right word that day. Because Qin Qin was sharing about her plans for her future; retaking O's english as she required the grade to enter the Polytecnic, and as such the date clashes with her trip to Taiwan for the Church's chior. She had mentioned that she had missed the trip the last time, both the paper and the trip are very important to her future. Emotions filled the air. I need not spell out what happened next. Well, we (SFers) had just received news that she had been accepted into the Polytecnic of her choice, which means that she could rest assured that the results O'levels English paper will not make much of a difference to her future now! Glory to the God!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Well another emotional event happened on that day, if you consider being hysterical to be an emotion. After the sharing session we had a short game of frisbee. It was when the frisbee entered the waters that such emotion was being displayed on our faces. Excitment turned hilarious. The disc was mot far out at sea, but the continouous taunting of the graceful waves attracted it, like how a magnet, though small, but able to pull the weight of a heavy metal weight. Bit by bit, the disc inched towards the freedom of its own destiny, along time. Against this destiny came one man, a young one, hot-blooded, well, sort of. Using his intelects, initially, with improvisation, a stick to lure the disc back to where it belongs. But the elegant waves has been out too far, too dangerous. With the last breath, the man though that if he had missed this final chance, there will be no tomorrow for the disc. There goes him, waddles through the now angry waves which attempt to stop whoever wanting to rescue the disc.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

He got it. Undaunted by the futile attempts of the evil waves. The pureheart raised his sword, i meant his stick, the shield by his side, i meant the frisbee disc in the other hand. He proclaimed victory!

I found out the truth

Actually, a lot of people have been wondering why i ipdate up blog so irregularly, and also at such a long time lapse. This is because, i have some problems with the computer/s at home. Either they refuse to connect or the computer system is totally down. My own's mainboard was short-circuited and my sis's had a bit of trouble while connecting, because there was an additional phone to the router, once removed, well, all is fine. Sad Life, without connection...

Upcoming are the entries for the recent events!! (",)

Friends & one's Golden age

Yupp, Yupp, you are right, there are, as usual two posts today, so read on, enjoy.

Hmm, i really enjoyed my secondary and JC life, with all true friends around us, we will not need to worry that you might get stabbed in the back anywhere you walk; friends who are true, who are pure at heart, most importantly, freinds whom anyone can trust.

It got me into pondering about all these, on saturday night, when i met Hui Yee at Dolby Ghaut MRT station platform; i was on my way home from work. Seeing her let me thought of the times i was in my JC classes, the interaction between people of our ages then. Samanthia & Li Jia were also there, it was their secondary school class sort of mini gathering. Yee and i brought up a lot of other people's name, like Aloy, Val, Russ, Hailing, Daniel, Fanny, Victor, Ibrahim, Ashik, Jerome etc etc. We find out about each other's life, also about the people-that-we've-mentioned's life. I actually realised how thriled she was to see an old friend, and also how she responded to htis very old friend. How true, how pure the friendship of ex-classmates.

To be frank, i would really want to meet up with another old pal cum Metal Gear Solid fan cum partner. Edwin Kee. Where are you, man?? Hope to get in touch with you once your vacation starts. Really.

Alright, i'm hitting the bed, gonna go work tomorrow. See you at Orchard!

Follow-up

Yupp, as of that day, do not you people out there thinks that the Orchard incident is some sort similar to Happy Tree Friends. You know, good friends, then somehow, in the end, the body ends up in pieces. No offence to anyone.
I am now begining to see how adults behave, how different people treat other people in front and behind their back. Really experience the errieness of this whole behavior thing.

For those faint hearted, prepare for the bloody image.

Human. Adult humans are masked creatures, i hope i will not grow up to become the beasts that i detest most. Dear God, guide my path in this influential society.

TWO POSTS today

There are 2 posts today, read both! enjoy.

Orchard Road & Me

If you are reading this, it happened to be the third day in which the Fillipina maid's body was found. Orchard road and me. I work at orchard road. I did not expect to chance upon such raw stuff, except in the biology laboratory, in which we students cut things up. A head with long hair, in a red plastic bag, exposing the left ear. Beside it is a blue travel bag, unzipped, and also a blood stained newspaper.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Well, 4 hours in the sun, i have to direct passer-by to use the Orchard MRT station underpass because the other underpass was being cordoned off. 4 hours in the sun, i have to respond to passer-by's questions on who, what, when, where, why, how.

I took MC the next shift, because of 4 hours in the sun and 1 wedding dinner, in which a colleague warned me about the food there. i went ahead with my plan to go to Creative headquarters in the morning with Aloy to get my cousin's Zen Micro repaired, and also to take a look at the sale there. Bought a Singapore design mouse, nothing else. Went to the doctor's later in the evening.

Great, my stomach still feels funny right now.Sigh.

Lonely, i am so lonely...

Being a Police National Serviceman , especially now, since i am working shift work. Good, i gives me freedom, but then so, it does not give me the opportunities to meet up often with my loved ones, people like good buddies from the JC/Secondary school, people like my brothers & sisters from church. i feel so empty when my off days falls on a weekday.i cannot ask them out. Either they are studying or in camp serving SAF/NS. Last tuesday ( i think), my father was gong to suntec, i thought why not i go watch my show and he would go do his stuff but by traveling the same way. i would wanna catch as it was going to stop showing soon. I called up my several friends, none of them can make it as they either required some rest or they are engaged in either working or still in campus. My father left the house first to go to hougang to pay some bills. He ask me to decide where i wanted to go, then give him a call. Subsequently, i decided to go to cathay to watch as i was not in time for the suntec's show. When i reached the bus stop, i told my father my decision, but after a while i got the "WHAT-THE-HELL-AM-I-DOING" feeling. i called up my father again and met him soon afterwards. We went to suntec in the end, done some window shopping.

New Life, Or rather, a Different life.

New Life, Or rather, a Different life.

Yupp.

You know in the English language, the way one pronounce different words in a statement makes the statement have various meaning. For example the title of this post: . You might want to try the different ways to read this title. Like :"new life, or RATHER, a different life" or "NEW life , or rather, a different life" etc. But for this post, read it with the emphasis on "different". "new life, or rather, a DIFFERENT life".

The life as an frontline officer is totally different from the life inside the Academy. Totally. I mean we have heard a lot (trust me, it is really a lot) of what is the jobscope of an officer once he or she passed out from the academy. I thought I was prepared enough to face the changes that I am going to face once posted out after hearing all those stories, facts, experiences of the senior officers who took us for classes. No, I am not, i dare say that the other squadmates are not too.

Being an NPCO, a police officer, a public servant. Really, a public servant. No doubt it will be one of the most interesting and fruitful post one might get in the force, but the message is that all those crime fighting drama mama action will most probably not happen in my lifetime as a NPCO.

So far, I have seen that we are actually more like servants, only that we are the public's. Why? Because we have to respond to the public's call for "help". Sometimes little things like small time couple quarrels, or "i suspect someone stole my bag, you know, the expensive brand, LV?" when in fact is that they hav misplaced it when we ask them do they have any suspect in mind. " Oh! em... i left it on the foodcourt table to 'chop' place, then by the time i return, vanished". We must be cautious, especially with LV bags. Or bigger time llike drunks fighting after mere seconds of night spots when they just walked out of the bar's door. Then police have to go there stop the fight. What are bouncers for. I mean the stsation is a few streets away, by the time we reach, we might be down there looking at dead corpse. Right? Sometimes, drunks call up police to say that people are harressing them, when we reach the scene and ask them, their friends keep on pulling them away, then say to us, "sorry sir, my friend had too much a drink, sorry to bother you" still trying to pull the friend away from the police. Crime fighting might not be the phrase, Crime management is more like it. We came to contain the situation, protect life and property. Well people do not call for the police before they see a crime in progression, do they?

Drame mama action. Not in my lifetime, but i wondered if it will happen at all. I am happy with the more noble management job. Manage the peace around townsville. Haha!

GOSH!!!

Oh My... It seems to be months ago that i have touch you, Mr eternity.

Okay, i will have to make some quick updates since then.

First, i passed my driving practical test with 6 demerit points, Thank God for keeping me calm while on the road. Next we, all the NPCOs have passed out from the Police Academy! But, but not without a powerful impact of a very very terrible changing parade on the second last day of the course conducted by our very weird OC squad. It left us with a deep impression because we deemed that our mistakes would not qualify us to be beiong punished this way. For what? Watching an original VCD while waiting for his ultimately late arrival to class, besides he has no plans for lessons anyway. We have not been having proper lesson for the last month of our course. Just wait in class, waiting for breaks, waiting for the meal times, just like in the zoo. The whole session included a raincoat PT session which was stopped by FI Hassan, then that was when the changing parade commence. Good, at least we have some sort of parade for our passing out. POP lo!!

Next for the relaxing part of our time in Police academy. Our peeps realised that actually we should have started playing volleyball a long time ago, beacuse it is simply so fun. One thing is that it is quite a new game to everybody, everyone has their own fun in making funny mistakes, hilarious in fact. Another thing is that the bond is there, it's exciting to just really play together. Simple enough.

Now, The JC gang. Although the outings has been a little in draps and bits, but we somehow managed to get together. We went to Amanda's dad, stingray stall along kallang on one of the saturday Joanne fetched the rest of them (without me la, so late already) to some bar to have a drink., Then i think the following week we went to watch initial D at Suntec then play pool at Marina Square; spent the rest of the night searching for Joanne's car in Suntec's carpark. The previous week i went to Marine Parade K-Box, with the Double As , Aloy and Hailing. First time there. Felt weird at first, until i know how to just 'let go' Haha. Oh ya, i still owe you some money, Aloysius, this blog entry is the IOU... haha, so informal, i now. How?

Dear Sfers, i have got to tell you peeps that my schedule is irregular, so, plaeae do take note and try to remind me if my assistance is required whenever. i will not be able to attend neither service nor Bible Study regularly, so update me on the happeningd within Church. Trust me, my Faith is still strong, i will promise to so my own quite time.

We went to Yan Fang's new house for house warming right after Bible Study the previous week. Then i went to watch War Of the World with Min Hui. Weekend tickets are still so expensive.

Posted out to E Division, Orchard NPC. The very first duties i have performed is the one at the NE show last week saturday. It was exhausting standing there monitoring the students and bus. Now i know that not everybody really understand the meaning or co-operation.

i think that's about it until now. i think the frequency of me updating would be iregular too, but certainly more often now, after posting out.

Cya!!

Right on target.

I forgot to bring the book : to camp. So KY and Nigeress can't read.

This week was plain old uninteresting... until wednesday.

Come Wednesday, our barrack was raid again. PT punishment. PT kit, then did pumpings, crunches, jumping jacks, then 3 minutes change to full uniform. Afterwards another round of pumpings and jumping jacks. Afterwards we had a session of feedback session.. F I Danil asked us, " what u think of your squadmates?" sigh... The whole process took about 3 hours, then it was dinner time.

Come Thursday, 3 pm, F I Danil took us for PT. First, he came into our barrack, "PT kit in 3 minutes, bring some cash". we thought " wah, gone case". We had a round of warm up exercises at the basketball court, followed by a run to Macrichie reservoir via Mediacorp, then we went to Thomson Macdonalds. we had a break, got a drink, then off we go again, back to Tracom. then whole thing takes about 3 hours. Next was dinner, followed by movie night.. Guess wat.. i actually stay there trying to watch SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. i sat there, frustrated, because i was hoping that the show was spoiled like last week's amtyville horror, then the management changed to show to the exorcist. In the end, i started messaging the people seated within the near proximity. Bored i was. I did not enjoyed the movie one bit, i do not know why. actually i'm okay that i did not enjoyed it. Fine.. weird guy.

Friday was okay. we got to walk out a bit earlier, it was Family Day.

The weekend was not bad. i attended my church's hokkein worship enent. the song was Fascinating. Title [i want to sing aloud] in hokkein. The live version made the audience so emotional!

This coming week will be our fingerprint dusting & photography course, and we'll be apply for for our PDL tomorrow!! yeah!

My sister will going over to Australia for her overseas learning journey organised by the school. Hmmm, hey Dawn, if you are reading this, Haha, you better take good care of her while she over there!! Haha!! Or else i'll take good care of you!! MUHAHAha (evil laughter)

God Bless us all!!

Missed!!

Sigh.. I'm delayed again.

Last week. Ah, last week. Let me think.

Last week was quite an event filled week. Firstly, we, NPCOs, got to know our Final theory results on the same week (on friday) as we took it (tuesday).. Wow. Most of us passed! It was actually quite like a joke as the practice session was so tensed up because the instructors kept on saying how tough, how tricky the paper was, choose A, B, C or D booklet, Never take the E or F booklet. I got the E booklet, it was actually very easy, so i can imagine how the previous booklets would look like.

Another eventful situation, sort or rather related to the Final theory test. On the test night, F I Danil raided our barrack. Of course being old birdies of TraCom, we were taking matters into our own hands: bedframes with hangers/clothes, bed messy, shoes arranged atrociously.. worst of the worst.. my bedframe was shifted from my place to the front to join with my another 2 squadmates, it will book like 3 bedframes together, mine in the centre, except that my frame was a single frame, the side ones are double deckers. So, after his raid, he made wat it looks like a aftermath of a typhoon out of the barrack and made those who were not taking the test do PT. As we received the news just before we entered the testing ground, somehow it affects our feeling at that point of time. The next thing we knew, the next day, or Officer-in-charge, blew his top, and left the classroom. we never get to see him for the whole week after that, partly due to our actions, partly because he was also on course.

The Fellowship of the Clique

Hey, our clique. Aloy, Daniel, Dean, Joanne, Minqi, Russell, Valerie & me. Some of you all really, seriously, had not meet up for a long while. Phew. So long. Since Prom Night, if i'm not wrong. So yah, the rest of us, like Daniel, Dean, me, met up yesterday again! For a movie: Kingdom Of Heaven. Although it was not an official our clique thing, because one of my squadmate initiated a movie event for yesterday, then ask me along, i took this opportunity to also gather our clique. Great idea, right? So the movie, was a little strange to me, because i lack the background knowledge of Jerusalem then. But the entertainment value is there, definitely, great cinematography, and lastly the message was quite clear.

i realised i am still not so good at arcade games. Lost so easily. This i got to know before the movie, while playing Time Crisis 3 at X-zone Dholby Ghaut. Haha!

NPCO + Class 3 licence = Better policeman

Wow, i really could not believe the i am going to take my Final Theory this coming tuesday when i just took my basic theory last friday. It is simply too fast, usually other people would require to wait for about 2 months or so to sit for it. But i believe the lessons we, NPCOs attend every night had so far prepared us well for our tests.

This week in camp, was a neutral. Highs and lows. i had good interaction with my squadmates like Eyebrows, Kuan Yong, Yuan Kai, Zhang Feng, this bunch of people, chated a lot, about games, lifestyle, habits, our childhood, NCC, sisters, etc. Bad time, actually waste of time, because of the "too much free time" between programmes. People get restless, peopl gets rowdy.

Angels & Demons. The book i lend to KY and Brows. KY finished it. Fast. I'm currently reading Wisely, book 47: The other species of human. Science Fiction. Chinese book i'm still at chapter 7. Slow.

Back to training; 1 2 3 4: left right left. 4 3 2: 1 N P C O!!

Ahem. It has been 2 weeks, right? Nothing much has happened during this time though, that is one reason why i did not really bother to blog in too often nowadays. The NPCO training did not comprise much content. I guess (and the officer in charge's too) that the reason why the training is made residential is .. Well.. Because of the driving lessons. By the way, i started my first basic theory lesson last thursday evening. Then, also, i felt for my Airport police officer squadmates because they are not entitled to the driving license.

So far, other than last thursday evening, the past 2 week has been identical. Morning wake up, flag raising, breakfast, lesson, lunch, lesson, dinner, end of the day; except for wednesday we have mass-calisthenic (basically all staff and trainees will be at the parade square for some light warm up then compulsory run will be conducted by the respective officers) and also some Physical training or Drill lessons by my Field Instructor. The only hilight is that we have change from a slacker instructor to a stricter one who likes running a lot. So, that's about it.

Talking about mentally, spiritually and emotionally, i felt that the 3rd week of NPCO training actually brings the squadmates to a greater extent, if a graph was to be used, i would describe that the graph of unity start to increase EXPONENTIALLY. Wow, that is a strong word, man. But in any case, there would be some people who still do not see the commom direction the squad is heading towards. I hope that they will not take long to realise. God please help to lighten the burden of squad NPCO 1.

For so long a time the clique has not meet up. Finally ther is a small get together of the MJC guys, Aloysius, Daniel, Dean, Russell with a special guest MinQi. Although some people came at the wrong timing and some cannot come due to unforseen circumstances, i appreciate the effort man. We should get together more often man, hang out at great places like Brewerks, Marcee etc.

Ah, yes, i will be walking in soon. Taking taxi tonight, as my father will not be driving me there. Got to go.

Phew!!! Finally.. I'm back

It was like so long ago that i've edited You, eternity.. Hmmm.. let me start chronologically...

Since March 20th. 4 weeks

Week of 25th

It was the final week that my squad had to go to block 26 for clases. Seeing that the end of our job course in the academy is coming to an end soon, some of us are actually not clear of our future NS direction, becasue of the secrecy and inefficiency of the PNSD. Most of us knew that if nothing goes wrong at that point of time, we would actually get our corporal rank, because we met the criteria (eng or GP, IPPT, EOC and SBT & studies which we had not received the results yet). The most of us are telling each other how we are going to study like mad over the weekend or something.

I did not study much for the Senario Based Test because i went to Pasir Ris beach to take pictures for my portfolio. i went out to shoot after i met Aloysius and borrowed his camera. The night was very windy, but the evening view was very beautiful. I realised how nature can be so captivating, so amazing the i would want to take the same picture over and over again. At that point of time, i did not think of the portfolio anymore; i was concentrating on the wonders of God's creation, and man's power over them. i spent the whole weekend doing the portfolio after that. As that weekend was the one which my family went to thailand for holidays, i was left alone at homne, and could do almost anything i wanted. i shifted the furniture to make my settings and made my short video clip indoors. i worked till 3am in the morining of 27th sunday. The whole weekend was basically about the 3 items BFA required us to submit.

Week of 3rd

The week actually started on 27th itself when i had to get up at 5, because i have got Oderly Barrack duties to perform. It was a sunday, (thank God) therefore there was literally no one except the few OBs, and the mess staff. the first thing i reached there was to replenish my energy: sleep. That rainy sunday went very slowly. Me & my partner slacked through the day, sleeping, polishing boots, reading. I tried to do my Portfolio write up on that day, but the printer was down. i can only sleep and read a book. i picked up Da Vinci's code from Danny, started reading it. The Academy actually looks scary without anybody in it.

This week was quite okay, as i got help to send out my portfolio out to NTU with Ma'am Indra's help. (my OC) She drove me out the balastier post office on tuesday. it was of Great help. Wednesday was the Big day, as Squad 54 finally got the Poolside party as promised. We had good deals and got 12 pizzas, 8 garlic bread & 4 bottles of pepsi for about $120++. We really had the fun that night as we hear OC and FI Adam talkied about the NSF changes and out future. Although Ma'am Indra was a bit naggy, we we knew her intention was good, in telling us about knowing how to behave and all.

We had our first ever Passing Out Parade rehearsal. Excited. The parade was simple, but it was the involvement part that drives most of us crazy. Adam was the in charge, man, he was strict... The last part of the working week is the Graduation Dinner, when we were presented with the Best Squad. Squad 54. The memories and people and all, it makes it really the Best ever.

Sentosa was relaxing on weekends with Lionel, Brad, YiXiang, Des+GF, and Roy+GF. i'm very reluctant to go into the waters because i had not brought my towel; i was tricked into the waters with a front rolling break fall, they grabbed me in after the roll when i was offbalanced. Fun guys though.. Best saboteur from the best squad (announced 1st april, no it was not a april fools' joke).

Week of 10th P.O.P. week

The practices gets more and more intensed as the Passing Out date inched nearer. Sweat is what we paid for the perfection of the parade, of course the hilight was that there will always a memoriable incident during 1 of the rehearsals. Best Squad Drew a "Best Squad of 118th intake" using marker on their white PT shirt and wore it to the morning Parade. We were marked by several instructors. And finally was reprimanded by Adam himself and we had to run back to the barrack to change.

In the midst of tight schedule, i received news that Dawn will be coming back on the 10th. thanks to my sister, who was always at home, instead of trying to solve the very same, similar, identical type of maths questions, she MSNed.

On P.O.P day itself, the morining, we were being called up to SI Indra's office for our posting. We were so anxious when we heard that a whole lot of us got Station Sercurity as our posting A.K.A Sentry. I am very worried i would get that. i got Neighbourhood Police Centre. Another thing i want to give thanks to God.

On P.O.P. night(7th) , My parents came, Amos came, Minqi and Daniel came, Valerie came. I'm so happy to see them. Most of my friends were packing their stuffs for the Next day enlistment (8th). This is the point of a semi-bad news, because NPCO course is 3 months, not the earlier comfirmed 1 month.

Friday (8th) De-kit day.

Crazy Day. The whole Delta company rushed to and fro the gymnasium and delta coy. Because FI Yusman (coy commander) was not satisfied with the conditions. NPCO1 was to stay in at block 25, room 1. I'm back to my old room. The last official gathering of squad 54 was held at Bradley's place. Both Adam and Ezra came, we had a couple of drinks and stayed till 1am. It was an eventful night because we had fruitful discussions about the NS future and had advices on how to let an eventful life out during off-days. We shared about where go get good chill out places, cheap etc etc.

Week of 17th

1st week in NPCO1. Boring as there was only lessons. the only leisure was to do exercises. Jogged 2 nights with Howard. Good companion. The good times are 1) the the very frequent sleeping breaks, after every meals... so slack, & 2) we get to learn Driving in 2 weeks duration.

Thanks Dean for helping me fix the graphics card and getting me such a brotherly deal. Pacifier was funny, haha, Vin's acting improved man, since xXx.

Bible study was eventful. Learnt a lot yesterday and today. How to lead a life that stands out, even though throught the eyes of modern society, our actions might be deemed weird, but we know that our actions are based on the words that will never pass away. How changes in our life actually change our life for the better. Teaching the secondary 2 kids was a splitting headache. I sure do pray that they grow and mature faster.

Going to walk in later. Finished packing my stuffs. But i have not gone out with Dawn yet. I really do hope i can have the chance next weekend.

Smilez (",)

Plan(et)

i made a pact with Dean "yesterday" (saturday. Which is to obtain abs before ORD. haha.

I did my sentry duty from friday evening till saturday morning. It was not as tiring as they say, but it really is rather nervewreaking. The rest was disturbed and the short period of break was not enought to compensate the fatigue.

Ops. Error...

Ah!! i forgot to make an entry last sunday; was too busy preparing for the walk in, teaching my sister geography & mathematics and talking to my mother.

As i was mentioning, i just received my 'A'levels results last week. Was disappopinted as i sort of realised that it would be quite difficult for me to enter University with ease. Therefore, it is actually like a piece of big boulder blocking my way in life. As the week pass by, i realised that not everyone is talented academically, to be more specific: there are different types of education that are suitable for different type of people. For me, the more structured style, like in primary and seconbdary school compared to the Junior college style is more suitable for me. Somehow the "freedom" i experienced during my college years earned me my 3-Ds.

As i went around Career fairs, and NUS & SIM open houses, UK educational fair. I began to see the boulder getting beiiger and taller. It is like you know that u can breeze through the path which happens to be BEHIND the boulder, but the chances of getting to there is hard. It is like one standing on a river bank and see that the green pasture is on the OTHER side, but the wide river is almost impossible to cross, and the criterias are depriving you of even a small raft to try for a chance to get over there. We ought to know and have faith that God will remove the boulder and provide us with the boat for us, but sometimes as humans, we are impatient and lay blame, we ought to change too.

As i check out the courses and faculties in those fairs, i think that NTU and overseas might be the only choice. Seriously. My options are Biomolecular and Media. But it would be hard for me to get into any science course with my score. Media would be a more practical choice in this sense as it is one of my forgotten interest...

Walking in later. it's 3 more weeks to P.O.P. . 1 more week to Exminations!!! Never did i , nor my squadmates expect that we have to study during National Service. Stressed out. I will be performing sentry duty this friday evening till saturday morning, come visit me if you can, i will see if i can let you enter, or just shoot you straight. (kidding) I will skip my trek around MacRitchie reservoir because of my duty. (YaHoo!!)

During these few weeks, i've watched 3 movies all at Suntec because i've been there again and again and again...

Lastly, i could not get Dawn on her phone, simply 1) because she never turn on her SingTel number and 2) i do not know how to dial Australian number. Haha.

Tata Evans!!

Dimentional

Heard of 3 dimentional, 3-D? Well, that's my A levles score. Quite disappointed though. But I must praise God for helping me get throught the toughest period. For me to have the heart of acceptance.

Actually i did not want to blog today. Because later i missed out somehting about Daniel ah, then... ... ... ...

Haha. Actually i'm going out to Sntec Carrer fair with him & Aloysius today. So, i'll actually write another more meaningful entry tomorrow.

Lastly, finally, Dawn answered her Handphone. after prompting to change her sim card. haha.

Acquire a new skill, level up!

Finally, i've learnt to ride the bicycle on the 19th of feb 2005. At the age of 18. So old, right. All thanks to my father. Ya, initially (about 4 or 5 years ago) SOME PEOPLE *Amos & Sherman* agreed to teach me, then after a while (like 2 years ago) ANOTHER SOMEBODY *Aloysius* also promised to teach me. In the end, my father taught me.

It's quite some time, eternity evan B.C. since i wrote in. It is still new year, I just went to Aloysius's house for night suffer, i meant night supper yesterday. Thanks for the Mudshake man. It has been 12 days of Chinese New Year already.

I was actually shocked that my postage, consisting of a letter, a card and a mini calendar could successfully reach Australia. i would thought it was overweight. Ya, Dawn received it. Hmmm, Hey, Dawn, hope you'll like it! "Bear again??" you might be thinking, actually i bought the calendar last year, december, after one of my NAPFA test, at Toa Payoh Popular. So, why is it so late? Because i could not get stamps. Funny reason..... but true......

Hey, it's walk in day again. 3 months P.O.P!! Police Academy

Sunday, January 30, 2005

Hmmm... do i want to start hunts again?

So, should i start wrinting my entries like what i did last time. As in i placed scenarios of hunting game and relate it , or superimpose to my weekly life? Considering.

Hello you all... it was hectic week for us Police trainees. Lessons everynight till 2230, and lights out is 2230. We had hardcore training this week, like live firing early in the morning after drills. Strength Training PT right after a 2 hours swimming lesson also early in the morning. The comforting fact is that i did okay in these, marksman for the 1st frame, and category A for swimming. I am satisfied with my results. I am expecting more physical activities and adventures in-camp this week. Come on, i can take it. Too much lessons somehow slackens us, makes us fat. haha.

I am slow in my progess spiritually. Because i had not finish reading even chapter 1 of my "EXPERIENCING GOD" book. But church life is fun. I've realise that my brothers and sisters have grown (spiritually lah, DUH). Min Hui especially. I'm happy for them.

Hi Dawn! Hope you will be reading my entry. Yepp. We've (me&sis&friends) been thinkin of you. Somehow everything around me reminds me of you. Haha. The blue sky, Girl's clothing in stores, etc. You know, i went to PS yesterday. Then i saw a glass pendant shaped of a cross with bits of baby blue/ bright yellow confetti designs inside, guess what? reminded me of you, because the colour combination suits your skin tone exactly. haha. so, ya. haha.

I got to go, Walking in camp soon. cya soon, eternity evan B.C.

Cya soon, Dawn

Finally

When was the last time i write in... sorry for the delay. I like Police life, the time i spent in the Academy. Nice. Training was not so tough, for us, the Prep Course tough peeps. Sadly, i cannot fill in any details here. it's against the law. Sorry guys out there. i only can say, we enjoyed using the T-baton more than the revolver.

Yesterday we all went to send Dawn off... Sad moments... i've decided to become Dawn's pan-pal. Haha, a bit outdated, but still very useful.Hmmm, Faith said she stilllll cried after she went home. i've tried, but nothing came out. Weird.
