The Chalet...

My Team held a chalet on the 3rd of April. The programmes were as usual. Fun interesting, interactive and it was really a gathering.

Actually there was a family of cats there. Well, they are very cute.

First there was a Barbeque, then folowed by a award presentation. Award presented o officers that have left or are leaving the team. Then it followed by more barbeque, and soon late night came, it was the free and easy time.

I went fishing with my Boss. Fishing is one of his hobby. Great hobby, i realised. It is a very relaxing activity; let me enjoy the breeze, the scenery and the finer things in life.

While we were at the beach, there was a very funny incident. You see, there was a cat, quite large for a cat, there and it put up a very great show down.

We were playing with the cat, stroking its fur and all. Then came a man walking his 2 dogs. 2 dogs, size larger then the cat. My guess is that one is a retriever and the other is a sheepdog (apologies, i'm not so good with identifying a dog's breed). The 1st dog carrried on walking with the man, just then the 2nd dog spotted the cat. The cat was originally sitting down, relaxing. Upon sighting the cat it stopped its step. The cat turned its head and look at that dog. The dog kept still while the cat stood up. Seeing that the dog remained still, the cat then took 2 paces forward. It then does the cat trademark stretching and arching its back action, strecthing out the paws and flaunting the claws. Still the dog kept still. The cat assume position. There was a few sends of silence. The 1st dog also saw the stand-up, and walked back to sort of back up the 2nd dog. Then came the exciting part.
The cat exploded, darting forward for about 4 paces. The 2 dogs was shocked by this movement and took a few steps backward, one of them almost ran. The 2nd dog then retreated when master called for them. But the 1st dog which walked back just down carried on staring at the cat. It was reluctant to move until the master called for the 3rd time. Then with it's eyes still on the cat, it walked away, towards the master.
My friend was saying that the master "paiseh" then "faster faster come, lets go." The incident was so funny.

Next, I got my hands on the fishing rod, and learnt some casting techniques from my Boss. It was easy once one know how to coordinate the timimg of releasing the string and the swinging momentum. For me, I stayed at the beach fishing until morning with my Boss and Iz.
