What a wonderful day. Yupp, it was one of the saturdays (24th sept 05) when i have 1724, a fellowship of my church that comprises people of 17 till they are 24! Cool combination. I remembered that day was emotional. Remembering the times about 5 years ago, when my Student Fellowship organised a night tour, and the last destination was Changi Beach. On 24th, it was a picnic outing, and while on the journey, we passed by the route when we used to reach Changni beach 5 years ago. Fascinating.

Emotional would be the right word that day. Because Qin Qin was sharing about her plans for her future; retaking O's english as she required the grade to enter the Polytecnic, and as such the date clashes with her trip to Taiwan for the Church's chior. She had mentioned that she had missed the trip the last time, both the paper and the trip are very important to her future. Emotions filled the air. I need not spell out what happened next. Well, we (SFers) had just received news that she had been accepted into the Polytecnic of her choice, which means that she could rest assured that the results O'levels English paper will not make much of a difference to her future now! Glory to the God!

Well another emotional event happened on that day, if you consider being hysterical to be an emotion. After the sharing session we had a short game of frisbee. It was when the frisbee entered the waters that such emotion was being displayed on our faces. Excitment turned hilarious. The disc was mot far out at sea, but the continouous taunting of the graceful waves attracted it, like how a magnet, though small, but able to pull the weight of a heavy metal weight. Bit by bit, the disc inched towards the freedom of its own destiny, along time. Against this destiny came one man, a young one, hot-blooded, well, sort of. Using his intelects, initially, with improvisation, a stick to lure the disc back to where it belongs. But the elegant waves has been out too far, too dangerous. With the last breath, the man though that if he had missed this final chance, there will be no tomorrow for the disc. There goes him, waddles through the now angry waves which attempt to stop whoever wanting to rescue the disc.

He got it. Undaunted by the futile attempts of the evil waves. The pureheart raised his sword, i meant his stick, the shield by his side, i meant the frisbee disc in the other hand. He proclaimed victory!
